The key fob on Mazda vehicles is very similar for all models from the same manufacturer, which means that replacing the key fob battery follows the same procedure. To replace the key fob battery, we need to insert a Phillips screwdriver inside the key and open the key fob to remove the non-working battery. Insert a new battery in its place and then close the key fob. Go near the vehicle to test its functionality, otherwise it will be necessary to reprogram the key.
