How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Mazda 2?

To replace the battery in the key fob of a Mazda 2, lift the key to leverage it inside its housing. This will allow you to completely detach the key from the top of the fob. By prying at the top now, you can open the device to access the battery inside: this must be removed from its slot and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, reassemble the key and close the fob, securing the two halves.
