How to Replace the Remote Battery on the Mazda 2?
To replace the battery in the remote for the Mazda 2, press the button that allows you to lift the key, then use a screwdriver to pry open its housing. This will detach the plastic cover from the back of the remote: underneath it is the battery, which must be freed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. Once the new battery is inserted, close the remote with its plastic cover.
