Installing Aux Adapter Accessory Kit and Removing Car Radio

To install an Aux input, it is necessary to remove the car radio to which the kit's control unit and the corresponding output cable will be connected. Start by removing the storage compartment under the handbrake; unscrew the gear lever knob and remove the plastic trim around the lever and on the sides of the tunnel, as well as the trim containing the storage compartment. Then unscrew the mounting screws of the climate control buttons to access the lower screws of the car radio; at this point, unclip the air vents located in the centre of the dashboard to access the other two mounting screws of the radio. Now you can pull the car radio forward and connect the kit's control unit with the supplied wiring harness, then reposition it and place the Aux output in the desired location.
