Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle securely. Remove the wheel by unscrewing the bolts. Unscrew and extract the retaining pins from the suspension arm using a 16mm spanner and push them out. Use penetrating spray to ease the operation. Also disconnect the steering tie rod. Using a fixed spanner and a ratchet, remove the suspension bolts and detach the shock absorber. Remove the protective cover in the engine bay with a 16mm spanner, unscrewing the three bolts at the top of the suspension, and perform the same operation on the other shock absorber after removing the expansion tank. Remove the entire suspension assembly and clean off any debris with a wire brush. Use the appropriate equipment to compress the spring to allow for the extraction of the worn shock absorber and replace it with a new one. Also replace the spring and rubber boot. Refit the suspension onto the vehicle in reverse order.
