Replacing the Electric Window Motor

Model: Mazda Cx 7 MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Power window motor

The first step to replace an electric window motor is to purchase a new one from an auto parts store. The replacement procedure is straightforward; just follow the instructions in this guide to save time and effort. You will need to unscrew the screws located in the window switch. To access the screws, use a flathead screwdriver to remove the rubber or plastic coverings. Disconnect all connectors at the base of the switches and unplug the electrical wires powering the system, then focus on the mechanical arm that supports the glass. Once you manage to unlock the glass, support it to prevent it from falling and secure it with a screwdriver to stop it from dropping.
