How to change the key fob battery on a Mercedes E-Class? Let's see in this detailed video how to do it. Take your key fob and slide the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the plastic cap. Pry until the two pieces separate from the cover, then remove the battery holder, replace the worn battery with a new one of the same size and voltage. Reattach the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key fob until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key back into the key fob. Check the proper operation of the key fob.
