Inside the Mercedes C-Class, you can reset the automatic transmission by turning on the ignition. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it. Once the dashboard lights up, press the accelerator pedal for about twenty seconds.

After this time, release the accelerator pedal and turn off the ignition. When you turn the ignition back on, you can check that the automatic transmission has been successfully reset to its default settings.
