How do you replace the brake pads and rotors on a 2017 Mercedes V-Class?

It is not a too difficult procedure but it requires a good amount of patience and many different tools. To replace the brake pads and rotors of your car, start by lifting the vehicle with a jack and blocking the wheels. Then unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheel. Once the brake system is exposed, unscrew the bolts that secure the brake caliper and slide it off. Be careful not to damage the brake lines. Now you can remove the worn pads. For the rotors, unscrew the mounting bolts and remove them. Before installing the new ones, clean the surface well. Put the new rotors and pads, reassemble the caliper and the wheel, tighten the bolts well and do a final check. Don't forget to check the brake fluid level. If this whole procedure seems extremely difficult to you, contact an experienced mechanic.
