How to reset the automatic transmission in the Mercedes E-Class?

In this tutorial we can see how to reset the automatic gearbox in the Mercedes E-Class, a very simple operation, to be carried out for example as an attempt to solve a problem or following a change of ownership. First of all, let's go inside the cabin, then insert the key and turn on the instrument panel, not the engine. Then press the accelerator pedal all the way down, keep it in position for at least 15 seconds, turn off the instrument panel and release the pedal. At this point, all that remains is to wait about 5 minutes, start the vehicle and drive some kilometers using the desired driving style.
