Installing a Bluetooth Accessory Kit

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

First, place the gear shift lever in reverse to facilitate the subsequent disassembly operations. Open the ashtray and detach the trim around the gear shift boot to access the fastening tabs of the ashtray itself, unclip them, and remove it. Unscrew the 2 mounting screws of the panel located just below the glove compartment on the passenger side, unclip it from its seat, and pass the wiring for the Bluetooth system control unit between the ashtray seat and the panel just removed. Then disconnect the connector located just below the radio (the one with the two orange wires), remove the blue lock and the output signal terminal from the connector to connect it to the wiring of the accessory kit; likewise, insert the terminal of the wiring into the original connector and reconnect it. Connect the power wires of the Bluetooth control unit and those of the cigarette lighter, ensuring to respect the polarity. Position the microphone on the rearview mirror, running the corresponding cable along the edge of the headliner and then through the pillar seal. Finally, secure the control unit and reassemble everything previously removed, ensuring to position the wiring properly.
