Check Fault Codes with Diagnosis

If any warning lights illuminate on the instrument cluster display, it means that the corresponding control unit has stored one or more faults. To understand the nature and origin of the fault, you need to read the error codes using a diagnostic tool. Connect the diagnostic interface to the vehicle's OBD port and scan all control units. The diagnosis will indicate which control units have stored faults, allowing for direct verification in that control unit. In this case, the diagnosis reports error codes in the engine management control unit, and upon entering this control unit, it is found that the fault was caused by a misfire in the third cylinder. Upon checking the ignition system, a faulty connection was found in the power supply connector of the ignition coil.
