Mercedes Classe E - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Accessory Kit
Operation: Checking fault codes with diagnosis

If any warning lights come on on the instrument panel display then it means that the relative control unit has memorized one or more faults: to understand the nature and origin of the fault, it is necessary to read the fault codes with the aid of an instrument diagnosis; then connect the diagnostic interface to the OBD socket of the car and scan all the control units: the diagnosis will indicate which control units have memorized the faults and then carry out a direct check in that control unit; in this case the diagnosis signals error codes in the engine management control unit and when entering this control unit directly, the fault is found to have been generated by a non-ignition of the third cylinder; then when checking the ignition system, a false contact was found in the ignition coil power socket.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
