How to Replace the Battery in the Mercedes A-Class Key Fob

To disassemble the Mercedes A-Class key fob to replace the battery, pull the physical key out of its slot by the keyring. Next, using a screwdriver, insert it into the slot next to the key fob (as shown in the images) and pry off the plastic cover where there is no symbol. This will allow you to remove it and access the battery. The battery is secured in its housing; simply pry it out with a screwdriver or shake the key fob to release it for replacement.
