Replacing Rear Brake Pads

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

Lift the vehicle at the wheel where you will perform the repair and remove the wheel.
Using a punch and hammer, remove the central retaining pin of the pads and the retaining spring.
Leverage the pads to retract the activation piston, creating enough space to accommodate the new pads; then remove the worn pads and insert the new ones.
At this point, reposition the retaining spring (the wider part should face down) and reinsert the pin until it is fully seated.
Reinstall the wheel, proceed in the same manner to replace the other pads, and before driving, pump the brake pedal until it offers the right resistance, paying attention to the first braking.
