How to Remove and Replace the Center Tunnel on a Mercedes A-Class

Let's see how to remove and replace the center tunnel on a Mercedes A-Class. Use a plastic trim tool to pry off the cover located at the bottom of the center tunnel. Remove the shift knob (as shown in the video). After removing the plastic cover, use a socket wrench to unscrew the fastening pins located at the rear of the center tunnel. Once this is done, pull out the tunnel and disconnect any power cables. Finally, insert the new piece into the center tunnel area and reassemble all the components of the glove compartment as they were removed earlier.
