How to reset the automatic transmission of the Mercedes E-Class W211

In the following article we will see how to reset the automatic transmission of the Mercedes E-Class W211, in case of slight shifting problems or light transmission issues. To reset the transmission, turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, then press and hold the accelerator pedal for 5/10 seconds, at the end of the 10 seconds turn off the panel, release the accelerator and wait 2 minutes without touching anything. At the end of the 2 minutes the procedure will be complete. This procedure is useful in case the transmission has slight shifting issues, however it is recommended to have the car checked at a workshop.
