Installation of VIM Module Interface

Model: Mercedes Classe M W164 - Years 2005-2011

Detach the panel with the climate control commands and disconnect the connectors attached to it.
Unscrew the two fastening screws of the radio located at the bottom, pull down the clips and remove it from its housing by disconnecting the connectors attached to it.
Then install the adapter wiring by removing the white connector and the small black one from the original socket, insert them into the supplied one and finally connect the original socket to the other connector of the wiring.
At this point, connect the VIM (Video In Motion) interface module to the last connector of the wiring: the red LED should flash every 2 seconds.
Properly position the module and wiring to be able to refit the radio after reconnecting the connectors; tighten the fastening screws and reattach the clips.
Finally, reconnect the climate control commands and reposition them in their housing by securing them properly.
Then carry out the programming to display videos in motion using the steering wheel controls.
