How to replace the fuel filter in a Mercedes C-Class.

Part: Diesel fuel filter

To replace the fuel filter of a Mercedes C-Class car, you will need a new filter, a Torx wrench, and pliers for the clamps. Open the vehicle's hood and gently remove the engine cover by pulling it upwards. The filter is cylindrical in shape and is located on the right side of the engine compartment, so locate it and use the pliers to loosen the clamps on the connected hoses and disconnect them. Remove the mounting screws from the filter bracket and carefully extract the filter. Place the new filter in the bracket, reconnect the hoses, and tighten the clamps. Turn on the car's ignition and wait for about 10 seconds, repeating this process 2-3 times to allow the pump to fill the filter. At this point, start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes to check for any leaks.
