How to Change the Engine Oil in a Mercedes GLC?

To change the engine oil in a Mercedes GLC, start the engine for a few minutes to warm up the lubricant slightly, then turn off the vehicle and safely lift it. Remove any lower engine cover and position a container under the oil pan. Unscrew the drain plug and let the used oil drain completely. Meanwhile, locate the oil filter, usually accessible from the top of the engine, and replace the filter cartridge along with its seal. Once the draining is complete, re-screw the oil pan plug and pour in the new oil from the top fill, adhering to the quantity specified for the installed engine. Start the engine for a few seconds, check for leaks, and verify the oil level using the dipstick or electronic display, topping off if necessary.
