How to Replace Windshield Wiper Blades on a Mercedes GLE

To replace the wiper blades on a Mercedes GLE 450 like the one in the video (but applicable to most modern Mercedes), put the wipers in service position by turning on the ignition and pressing the start button twice without starting the engine. Immediately turn off the ignition and within 5 seconds, hold down the wiper button: the wipers will lift and stop in the vertical position (service position). Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield, locate the small tab on the side of the arm, press the tab, and pull the blade down until it releases. Install the new blade by aligning it with the arm, push it until you hear a "click," and gently pull to ensure it is secured. Now return the wipers to the normal position by turning on the ignition and pressing the wiper button once, which will return them to the normal position.
