Park on a level surface, let it cool for a few minutes, turn on the ignition, navigate to the instrument cluster, and press the "menu" button: scroll to the "service" option and select "oil level". The display will show a bar or a message: "OK" for a full bar, correct level; "add XX quart" if the level is low; "overfilled" if the level is excessive (engine damage).

If necessary, top off with approved Mercedes oil.
