Detailed instructions - How do you maintain your car? This video explains how to replace the battery in a Mercedes C-Class. Open the car door and pull up the hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the hood, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the hood is open, you will find the battery on the right; remove the nuts securing the battery terminals, then take the battery out of the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the hood after maintenance.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel. Conversely, loosening the nut will decrease the handbrake's firmness and increase the lever's travel.
