Fuel Pump Replacement on Mercedes C

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

First, disconnect the battery cables. Then, remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket wrench to remove the screws securing the metal cap, and take it out of its seat. Use paper around the perimeter to absorb any fluid leaks. Use a chisel to unscrew the large retaining pin of the fuel pump, and disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Remove the floating fuel pump from its seat along with any attached parts. Finally, install the new fuel pump. Test its operation.
