Replacing the Alternator on a Mercedes E-Class

Is the alternator on your Mercedes E-Class not showing any signs of life? Let's see how to remove it. Lift the hood and secure it, locate the battery, and disconnect the terminals. Remove the radiator fan assembly to access the alternator. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts, being careful not to damage the wiring harness, and unscrew all the alternator mounting bolts. Once the disassembly is complete, you can take it out of the engine compartment. Take the new replacement part and insert it into the proper housing, tighten the mounting bolts, and then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Reinstall the radiator fan assembly.
