How to Replace the Water Radiator on a Mercedes W124

Thanks to the friends at AutoDoc, replacing the water radiator on a Mercedes E-Class, model W124, has never been easier. You can also find all the necessary replacement parts on their website. Start by opening the hood and unscrewing the cap from the coolant reservoir. Now, lift the car and place a small container underneath to catch the fluid that will spill out after you remove the cap from the reservoir located below. Once the fluid has completely drained, lower the car and proceed to remove the cooling fan located in front of the engine. Continue by disconnecting the various connectors and valves until you remove the radiator itself. Clean the mounting area and begin installing the new radiator, following the steps in reverse.
