How to Remove the Airbag Unit from the Dashboard of the Mercedes C-Class?

Before removing the airbag unit from the passenger side of the Mercedes C-Class, ensure there are no error codes stored in the control unit. Next, disconnect the battery and remove the trim from the A-pillar on the front passenger side. At this point, you will need to remove the glove compartment: at the AUX bushing, push the retaining ring upward and then pass the bushing through the trim. Now, disconnect the cover located at the top of the dashboard by removing the connectors. You will also need to remove the center console and the climate control buttons, as shown in the video. Along with these, remove the instrument cluster bezel and loosen the screws that secure the cluster. Finally, remove the screws that secure the dashboard, which can then be lifted and removed. Underneath, you will find the airbag that can be removed and replaced.
