How to dismantle the multimedia system of a Mercedes SLK? Let's look at removing the covering pieces to access the radio. Open the cup holder and unscrew the securing screws, then remove it from above the dashboard. Dismantle the cup holder and the air knobs. Once the edge of the radio is visible, unscrew the securing screws located on its sides with a screwdriver. Extract the radio by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). To reassemble, reverse the disassembly steps. Test the operation of the new multimedia system in the car.
