Check Battery Efficiency Status

If the battery symbol appears on the display when you turn on the ignition, there may be an issue with the battery's efficiency or the charging system, specifically the alternator. Measure the voltage at the battery terminals with the engine off (expect a value slightly above 12 V) and with the engine running (expected value 13.8-14.2 V). Additionally, if you have a battery tester, perform a test to more accurately assess the battery's condition. You should also perform the same operation on the backup battery located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side, just below the windshield.
