Maintenance Reset on the Mercedes-Benz B-Class 180

Whenever you perform an oil change and replace the oil filter, and thus carry out the maintenance service on the vehicle, it is necessary to update and reset the service indicator light that has illuminated on the dashboard. To do this, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold the OK button and the button with the phone symbol located on the left and right sides of the steering wheel, respectively, for at least three seconds. Then, use the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll through the onboard computer menu until you select the Assist Plus option, press OK to confirm. The system will ask you to confirm the update of the service timing and subsequently ask what type of oil has been used, and you should enter the relevant code, and finally confirm the reset.
