The following guide shows how to replace the transmission. First, it is important to highlight that replacing the transmission is a complex task that requires excellent mechanical knowledge and, last but not least, access to all necessary equipment. You will need a lift and a bottle jack. Since the vehicle has an all-wheel drive system, the transmission is connected to the rear axle from the front area, and from its rear area, it is also connected to the CV joint that allows motion to be transmitted to the rear axle. Once the vehicle is lifted, remove all the screws that secure the protective underbody shield. The transmission is located downstream of the clutch assembly, directly connected to the engine.
