Mercedes Classe C - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe C W205 - Years 2014-2021
Part: Antifreeze liquid
Operation: How should the Mercedes coolant be topped up

In this video tutorial you can see how you can top up the coolant on the Mercedes. If work has been carried out on the engine cooling system, it is first necessary to evacuate the air from the main coolant circuit using a suitable device. Then place the tank with the radiator coolant at the level of the expansion tank. Unscrew the closing cover of the cooling system; and screw the control cap on the tank, as shown in the video. Mount the control unit on the control cap. Then connect the hose to the tank. Mount the Venturi nozzle on the control unit; then place the drain hose in an empty container. Close the inflow valve. Open the drain valve, then open the inlet valve, until the valve is filled with coolant. Close the inlet valve. If the control unit pointer is in the green area you can close the drain valve. Connect the vacuum pump clamps to a 12 Volt source. Close the device's interception cocks. Once all the hoses have been connected, you need to drain the coolant for at least 5 minutes. This phase is completed when the indicator shows zero bars.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
