In this car model, when the "start-stop" system does not work, indicated by the light with the "A" symbol, and the car does not turn off when stopped, you need to check the charge status of the battery, particularly the "auxiliary" battery. The auxiliary battery is the small second battery located under the dashboard on the passenger side (beneath the glove compartment) and is used to retain all data from the control unit.

When the auxiliary battery discharges, this type of start-stop function issue can occur, so it is necessary to replace the auxiliary battery to restore proper operation.
