Removal of the Engine Casing

Model: Mercedes Classe M W163 - Years 1997-2005

This guide shows you how to change the engine casing of your car in simple steps. First, locate the engine casing you want to replace, then unscrew the screws inside the engine casing using a screwdriver; these will be needed later to secure the new casing. During disassembly, take care not to damage any components. Once everything holding it to the car is removed, the engine casing can be taken off and pulled away. To fit the new casing, simply follow all the previous steps in reverse.
