Disassembly, Cleaning, and Inspection of the Electromagnetic Valve

In the engine compartment, near the passenger side strut tower, there is a dual electromagnetic valve that controls the flow of water to the cabin heating system. Due to the buildup caused by hardness and impurities in the coolant, the valve may become stuck or not function properly. You can disassemble and clean it while checking the integrity of the seals. Start by disconnecting the power connector, removing the mounting screws for the solenoids, and pulling them out. Extract the pins with the springs, remove the base plate, and then the conical valves. Clean each component and proceed in reverse for reinstallation.
