To reset the SERVICE warning light on the instrument panel it is necessary to have a diagnostic tool, also of the after market type; once the regular maintenance has been performed with the replacement of oil and filter, connect the diagnostic tool to the OBD socket, select the make, model and engine type of the vehicle and enter the SERVICE section where it is possible to reset the warning light and reset the mileage to the next maintenance: depending on the condition of the engine (mileage and possible oil consumption) and the quality of the oil used for maintenance, it will be decided whether to set a shorter or longer mileage.
