Replacing the battery of the key/remote control of a Mercedes Benz A-Class vehicle is a very simple operation, which can be done in a few steps and independently. Let's start the battery replacement by extracting the emergency metal key from the remote control. To do this, simply pull the top part of it with force. Once the metal key is removed, insert it into the central part inside the remote control to open it. Once opened, remove the worn-out battery and insert a 3V CW2032 battery. All that's left is to close the remote control.
