How to Replace the Diesel Fuel Filter on a Mercedes C-Class?

To replace the diesel fuel filter on a Mercedes C-Class, open the hood to access the components in the engine compartment. You will need to remove the plastic cover located on top of the engine block to reach the underlying components. The filter is located at the top right, just below the windshield on the driver's side. Disconnect the power cables and remove the screws that secure the filter to its mounts. This will allow you to install the new filter, securing and connecting it properly.
