Starting Problem Due to Fuel Pump Malfunction

You may suddenly find yourself stranded with your car, and the issue could be due to the fuel pump. Usually, the pump gives early signs that can alert you. To confirm that the problem is with the pump, disconnect the hose that delivers fuel to the engine and insert its end into a container, then try to start the car. If the pump is working, fuel will flow from the hose; if not, it won't. If the failure is due to the pump, you can proceed with the removal. To detach the pump, simply unscrew the screws using a socket wrench, taking care to temporarily plug the fuel lines you will disconnect.
