When your vehicle has traveled several miles, it is necessary to change the shock absorbers, which are responsible for damping the movements of the suspension. They can be found at any auto parts store.

The replacement process is complex, but with a bit of patience, it can be done independently. You will need a compressor and a jack to lift the vehicle.

Then, you can remove the bolts and loosen the wheel. Next, open the hood and remove all the screws located above the shock absorber mount.

Then, you also need to remove the two screws on the spindle and the one positioned on the stabilizer, which runs parallel to the "affected" shock absorber. The shock absorber will come off easily.
