Replacing Car Air Conditioner

One of the most appreciated car accessories, especially in the summer months when the heat is relentless, is definitely the air conditioner. However, it may happen that it does not work well and that its controls need to be repaired or replaced. You can do this independently, without resorting to specialized workers. The first thing to check is that the refrigerant, the fluid that carries heat from inside to outside the car, is present in its reservoir. After locating the position of the compressor under the hood, start the car and turn on the air conditioning. If the pin on the pulley does not rotate, the system may have some issues. If the problem is with the wiring, just locate the compressor wire and connect it to the positive terminal of the battery. If you hear a noise, the compressor and its switches are working well; otherwise, the entire system needs to be checked, and the compressor should be replaced.
