Let's focus on the Mercedes C-Class W204, for which the procedure to reset the Service light is quite simple. After reaching the mileage set by the manufacturer, perform the scheduled maintenance, including an oil change, oil filter replacement, and any other necessary tasks.

To turn off the Service light, turn on the instrument cluster and access the Settings using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Select the Full Service option and press OK to confirm.

This will also set the future maintenance schedule.
