The following procedure will allow you to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Mercedes A-Class. First, take your key fob and start by removing the physical key from inside the fob using the button; then, pry open the slot of the key to remove the back cover of the fob, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type and with the same designation; insert it in the correct orientation and secure the key cover, then test its functionality.
