How to Reset the Service Light on a Mini Cooper Countryman

Here’s how to reset the service light on a 2014 Mini Cooper Countryman: start the engine and press the brake pedal (a crucial step for this model). On the dashboard, inside the speedometer, press the 'trop' button (the one used to reset the trip kilometres) for about 10 seconds, still holding the brake pedal. The display will show a menu with service options that you will scroll through using the satellite on the lever to the left of the steering wheel. Scroll until you find the option you are interested in (in the video, the brake fluid) and hold the satellite for 10 seconds. Do the same for the engine oil.
