How do you replace the VANOS of the Mini Cooper?

Model: Mini Mini R56, R57, R55 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Checks and maintenance

VANOS is a timing variation system installed on the Mini Cooper engine and also on other car models. To be able to replace it, it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the component positioned in the front part of the engine compartment, near the dipstick for checking the oil level. Once its fixing bolts have been loosened, it will be possible to remove the part from inside its housing, replacing it with a new spare part. Once this has been installed, it will be possible to verify that the engine is running.

How to Replace the Boot Compartment Light Bulb on a Peugeot 208

If you want to improve visibility inside the boot compartment, it is recommended to replace the original incandescent bulb with a LED type (T10 fitting); once the rear hatch is opened, locate the bulb holder positioned on the side, near the shock absorber dome, where the plastic grille is located. Then, lever the retaining tab to extract the bulb holder, disconnect the power connector, and remove the old bulb to replace it with the LED one; reconnect the power, check the correct operation of the bulb (if not, rotate it 180°), and reposition the bulb holder in its place.
