If, over time, the leather strip of the door trim gets damaged, through this video you can see how to replace it, without having to go to the workshop. Proceed with the disassembly of the door safety, the removal of the handle screw and the one inside the handle. At this point, with the aid of a screwdriver, all the plastic stops present on the perimeter of the panel are detached and the latter removed. All that remains is to unscrew the screws of the aforementioned leather band and remove the leather, so as to be able to proceed with the assembly of the new one. Once it has been measured, it is cut out and secured with tape before reinstalling it on the door panel. To finish, the latter is repositioned inside the door itself, then refitting the handle and the safety catch.
