Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mitsubishi Outlander MK 2 - Years 2007-2012
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just behind the glove compartment: open the glove compartment door and push in the side latch that acts as a stop so that you can fully swing it down to access the air duct where the cabin air filter is located; then unscrew the screws securing the cover of the filter housing, which is actually part of the filter itself, remove it from its housing, check for any dirt residue inside, and insert the new one, securing it with the corresponding screws before repositioning the door.
