Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Nissan Pathfinder MK 3, R51 - Years 2005-2012

The necessary equipment consists of fixed spanners, a ratchet spanner, the required amount of oil for the change, and a new filter cartridge. Open the oil cap on the engine and place a container under the engine to collect the used oil. Undo the oil cap on the sump and let it drain, then replace the cap. Remove the protection under the engine to access the oil filter. Slightly undo the filter to allow the contained oil to drain, then remove it from its housing. Take out the old cartridge and replace it with a new one, also changing the O-ring seal. Using a funnel, top up with new oil. Check the correct level on the dipstick. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to the appropriate collection centres.
