Nissan Pathfinder - Video tutorial

Model: Nissan Pathfinder R51, MK 3 - Years 2005-2012
Part: Engine oil
Operation: Engine oil and filter replacement

The necessary equipment is limited to fixed wrenches, a wrench, ratchet, the amount of oil required for the change and a new filter cartridge. Open the oil cap on the engine, place a pan under the engine to collect the used oil. Unscrew the oil cap on the engine sump and drain it, close the cap. Remove the guard under the engine to access the oil filter. Unscrew the filter a little to let the contained oil flow out and then extract it from its seat. Remove the old cartridge and replace it with a new one, also changing the O-ring. Using a funnel, top up with new oil. Check the right level on the dipstick. Do not disperse the used oil in the environment but take it to the appropriate collection centers.
