How do you replace the steering wheel of the Nissan Qashqai?

In order to replace the steering wheel of the Nissan Qashqai, you need to loosen the screws that secure the airbag located at its center: these screws are located at the back of the steering wheel. Once they have been loosened, you can proceed by releasing the airbag from its housing, disconnecting the connector underneath. At this point, you can loosen the central nut of the steering wheel so that it can be removed from its seat and replaced with a new one: once it is secured, you can reconnect and secure the airbag again.
