How do you change the battery in the remote key of a Nissan Qashqai? Here's how: Take your remote key, remove the metal key and use a screwdriver to open the cover (pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover). Extract the flat battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the remote cover: press on the key cover until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the remote key by pressing the buttons.
