Replacing the Timing Belt on a Nissan Qashqai

Let’s see the replacement of the timing belt on a Nissan Qashqai. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel with a screwdriver, then the right plastic splash guard. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Use a socket to unscrew the tensioner pulley securing bolt, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket. Finally, refit the splash guard with the associated pins and reattach the wheel with the tyre to the vehicle.
